Qatar on Monday expressed its condemnation in the strongest terms of Israeli occupation’s aggression against the City and Camp of Jenin that left martyrs and wounded, and considered it a new episode in the series of horrific crimes of the occupation against defenseless Palestinians, particularly women and children.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the fading chances of peace and the widening of the violence cycle due to Israel’s provocative escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The ministry stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to provide the necessary protection for Palestinians, and to force Israel to stop its flagrant violations of international law and respect the decisions of the international legitimacy.

The ministry renewed Qatar’s firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
