His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob on Wednesday witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between the two countries. HH the Amir and the Singaporean president witnessed the signing of an MoU in the field of food security between the two countries’ governments, an MoU in the field of energy between the two countries’ governments, an MoU in the field of cyber security between the two governments and an MoU on implementing training programmes for the Asian-Middle East Dialogue (AMED) States at the Qatar-based Regional Training Centre for Public Administration (RTCPA). A line-up of ministers and senior officials attended the signing ceremony. On the Singapore side, it was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the president.
