Minister of Municipality HE Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah met with several Ministers of Agriculture from Arab countries, on the sidelines of their participation in the work of the 37th session of the Food and Agriculture Organizations (FAO) Regional Conference for the Near East and North Africa in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Al Attiyahmet with Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, Minister of Agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan EngKhaled Musa Shehadeh Al Henefat, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Iraq Dr Abbas Jabr Al Maliki, Minister of Agriculture of the Lebanese Republic DrAbbas Al Hajj Hassan, and Minister of Agriculture of the State of Palestine Riad Attari.

The Minister of Municipality also met with Undersecretary of the Ministry of Climate Change in the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, and Eng Nasser Taqi, who is the Director General of the Public Authority of Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources in the State of Kuwait.

The meetings dealt with discussing ways to enhance cooperation ties between Qatar and the respective countries in fields of joint interest, particularly in the fields of agriculture and food security.
