Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Minister of Defence of China Admiral Dong Jun at the headquarters of the Chinese Defence Ministry in Beijing on Wednesday. The meeting dealt with issues of joint interest and relations between the two sides and the ways to strengthen them.

An official reception ceremony was held for the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs. The meeting and dinner were attended by Ambassador of Qatar to China HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Dehaimi and Military Attache of Qatar to China Brigadier-General Mohammed Hamad Fetais Al Marri and a number of senior officials and officers from both sides.
