Amir to chair Qatar’s delegation to Arab Summit in Bahrain today

His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will head the State of Qatar’s participating delegation in the 33rd regular session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Thursday.

HH the Amir will be accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and an official delegation.

The summit will discuss various issues related to joint Arab action in political, economic, social, cultural, and security fields.

The 33rd Summit is being convened in Bahrain amidst serious conditions and challenges facing the region, necessitating constructive decisions that contribute to enhancing Arab solidarity and supporting efforts to achieve peace, security, and stability in the region, especially in Gaza, Sudan, and other Arab countries.

The Palestinian cause and the Arab-Israeli conflict and its developments are expected to top the summit’s agenda.
