Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong on the sidelines of the Shangri-la Dialogue organised by the International Institute of Strategic Studies.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them. Latest updates in the region, especially the Israeli war on Gaza were also discussed, where the role of Qatar in mediation efforts and the necessity to ceasefire and end the war on Gaza were addressed.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Singapore HE Saoud bin Jassim Al Jufairi, along with several senior officials from both sides.
