Adel Al Mulla, a former Qatar national team player and technical analyst, passed away after a heart attack on Saturday. He was 51.
Al Mulla represented the Qatar national team in several international matches, and was playing with Al-Arabi Club, after which he moved to Al-Khor and from there to Al-Rayyan Club before returning again to Al-Arabi.
He also scored Qatar’s historic goal in defeat of Japan leading to Qatar qualifying for the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. (TNN)
