Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hossien Amir Abdollahian held an official round of talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the session, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries were discussed, especially in the areas of economy, investment and intra-trade, and the latest developments in the nuclear agreement.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues, especially efforts to support stability in Afghanistan, and the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
The two sides stressed the necessity of continuing the dialogue on the security and stability of the region, and supporting all efforts that would enhance it.
