Qatar chaired the coordination meeting on the level of permanent delegates to the Arab League to arrange and discuss preparations for holding the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, scheduled to be held in Doha on April 30.

During the meeting, the permanent delegates to the Arab League praised the efforts made by Qatar and the General Secretariate of the Arab League to make the forum a success, hoping to boost cooperation to broader horizons in the future, in a way that meets the aspirations and ambitions of both sides.
In a statement, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League for International Political Affairs Sector Ambassador Khalid Manzalawi said that the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan was launched in 2014 based on the memorandum of cooperation signed between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Secretary-General of the Arab League in the same year.
