Qatar has expressed its solidarity with Afghanistan in the face of the devastation caused by massive floods that struck the Baghlan province in the north of the country and led to deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar’s steadfast support for Afghanistan and its people, and its readiness to cooperate with the competent authorities in Afghanistan to provide everything that would help in overcoming the crises.

The ministry expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery of those injured.
