Chairman of Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi has said that the committee, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), will start the disbursement of May installment of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip on Thursday. In a statement on Wednesday, Al Emadi said the cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of $100 per family. He said the distribution process will take place through the UN at the centres identified in the governorates of the Strip — 300 centres and shops. (QNA)
